Trey Thomas

Trey Thomas, a Lafayette, Indiana native, joined Klondike Kennels in December of 2023 as a Lead Pet Care Attendant and was promoted to Boarding Facility Manager in April 2024. He brings prior leadership experience as a General Manager, where he successfully ran a million-dollar store in Angola, Indiana.
Trey holds an Associate’s Degree in Biology from Ivy Tech Community College, earned through the highly selective ASAP program. He is Fear Free Boarding & Daycare Certified and trained in Cat and Dog First Aid through the American Red Cross.

Passionate about advocating for others, Trey focuses on improving workplace efficiency, streamlining training programs, and problem-solving to create better outcomes for both staff and pets.

When he’s not at the kennel, he enjoys volunteering at local animal shelters, and spending time with his two dogs, Boston and Leo, and his special needs cat, Bob.
