Tips for Boarding
What to Bring to the Kennel
-
Any items, except bowls, are accepted. This includes food, treats, bedding and toys.
-
Please leave your pet's food & water bowls at home
-
Do not bring your pet's best bedding or toys to the kennel, bring things that you don't mind getting dirty or chewed.
-
It's up to you! You can bring as many or as few items as you want or you don't have to bring anything at all.
-
We have a stock of dry food for both dogs and cats - Eagle Pack brand, Natural Adult Formula
-
We also have a stock of bedding for both dogs and cats
-
Often, it can help to calm your pet if they can have something familiar from home during their stay
-

Other Tips
-
Be sure to get those Holiday reservations in as soon as you can!
-
Schedule your dog to have a bath and nail trim or a full grooming appointment before going home. This is especially recommended for those dogs that need regular grooming, dogs that have thick or long coats, or those that will be boarding for 10 or more days.
-
Make sure your pet is up to date on all required vaccinations before coming to the kennel. Records from other vet clinics can be faxed to us prior to your pet's stay. Everything must be up-to-date before your pet comes to the kennel.
-
Save time at check-in! Fill out any needed paperwork beforehand. The Pet Care Agreement & Emergency Treatment Release forms need to be updated every year. Download these forms at the bottom of this page.
-
Does your dog get anxious, stressed, or bored at the kennel?
See the list of Additional Services below for ways to make your dog's stay a little easier.
-
Playgroup member? Make sure to schedule all appropriate Stay & Play sessions for your dog's stay. Dogs are not automatically signed-up, you must tell us when you want your dog to participate in the playgroup sessions.

Additional Services
Ask us about Stay & Play!
Schedule a Grooming/Bathing Appointment or al a carte services, such as a nail trim, during your pet's stay.
Want to keep your dog busy and happy during it's stay?
- Purchase a "Busy Buddy Toy" at the clinic when you check-in and our staff will refill the toys with the treats that you supply (follow the link for information about the toys).
- Provide a "Kong" and some tasty treats or food items for stuffing (Kongs can be purchased at the clinic or at most pet stores).
- Supply your dog with some chewies/rawhides. A great choice is C.E.T. HEXtra Chews. They are formulated so that your dog can have one or two a day and they are coated with an enzyme to help remove plaque and reduce tartar on your dog's teeth.
- Get your dog involved in Playgroups and sign-up for the Stay & Play program.
- Does your dog or cat get stressed or nervous about being kenneled? Is this your pet's first time boarding? You may want to dry one of these great products to help calm and relax your pet during its stay:
